About these colouring pages
Spring in Britain starts in March: the clocks go forward, the first daffodils come up and the days get noticeably longer. Children are often asked to look for signs of spring at school, and colouring pages are a good way to start. This hub has six spring colouring pages.
You will find a bunny with a carrot in a grassy field, a flower garden with tulips, daffodils and a small picket fence, a rainbow between two clouds with a smiling sun, a chick hatching beside its mother hen, a butterfly on a branch with cherry blossom, and a child holding an umbrella in the spring rain. The bunny, the rainbow and the umbrella are easy and suit ages three to six. The garden, the chick and the butterfly have more to colour and are better for ages four to nine.
Spring is a good season for talking about growth and change: seeds, eggs, buds and blossom. Pastels such as soft yellow, pale pink and light green suit the subject, but bright colours work just as well. Every page prints on A4 or US Letter and is free for use at home, in nurseries and in the classroom. The artwork was made with an AI image model and checked by us before it went on the site.
