Elf Colouring Pages

Elves turn up all over Christmas: in picture books, on the shelf at home and, in many stories, in Father Christmas's workshop. This page gathers six elf colouring sheets, from a single elf holding a present to a crowded workshop table with seven of them painting and chatting.

The simple sheets are drawn with large shapes and thick lines, so they suit children of about three to six. The workshop scene and the elf in front of a tree have more going on and are better for ages six to nine. Pointed hats, belts and curly shoes give plenty of small areas to colour in, and the toys and gifts can be any colour you like.

Elves are a good excuse to talk about helping and making things, which is what most elf stories are about. Ask what each elf might be building, or what would be in the sack. Every page prints on A4 or US Letter and is free for use at home, in nurseries and in the classroom. The artwork was made with an AI image model and checked by us before it went on the site.
