Open Lunchbox Coloring Page

The lid of this lunchbox is raised so you can see what is packed inside: a sandwich cut at an angle, a round cookie with chips, and a tall cup with a straw. The box has a latch at the front and a rounded lid with an inner panel.

Ideas for coloring

• Colour the lunchbox in your favourite colour and add stripes or dots to the lid.
• The sandwich can have pale bread and a layer of green and red filling.
• Dot the cookie with dark brown chips on a tan base.
• Fill the cup with orange, red or purple juice and leave the straw white or striped.
• Draw a small napkin or a piece of fruit in any empty corner.

Good to know

A balanced lunch usually has a main food, a piece of fruit or vegetable, and something to drink. Ask your child what they would pack in a box like this and which items would stay fresh until noon. Looking at the box from the front also shows how a hinge lets the lid swing open.
