About these coloring pages

These fruit coloring pages include a full fruit basket, a bowl on a table, tropical fruit, a fruit salad, a market stand and sliced citrus. Every fruit is drawn with its own leaves, stems and seeds in the right places, so the pages double as a quick look at how fruit really grows.

Kids can color realistically or invent their own fruit colors. Either way the shapes help with naming: a banana is long and curved, a pineapple has a spiky crown, an orange is round with a small stem. The citrus page shows the inside of a fruit as well as the outside, with the segments arranged around the center.

Simple pages with two or three large fruits suit ages 3 to 6. The market stand and orchard scenes have more small shapes, and are a better fit for ages 7 and up. For a classroom, print the fruit salad page and ask kids to color each piece a different fruit, then name them aloud. Looking for one fruit in particular? The apple pages are a good place to continue.

Every page prints on US Letter or A4 paper and is free for home and classroom use.
