Arctic Fox in the Snow Coloring Page

An arctic fox sits with its eyes closed, wrapped in a big bushy tail. The fur is drawn in a few simple curves, and the tail makes a large, open area that is easy to color. It suits ages four to seven and works well for children who like animals and calm pages.

Coloring ideas

• Use white and pale gray for a winter coat, or try brown for a summer coat.
• Color the dark paws and the nose in a deep gray or black.
• Add a soft blue shadow under the tail to place the fox on the snow.
• Draw a few falling snowflakes around the fox.

Quick learning activity

The arctic fox changes color with the seasons: white in winter and brown or gray in summer. Ask your child why that helps it, and which colors they would choose for the same fox in different seasons.
