About these coloring pages

A get well soon coloring page is a small, handmade way to tell someone you are thinking of them. These pages are drawn for children who want to make a card or a picture for a grandparent, a classmate, a cousin or a friend who is at home or in the hospital. Each one has a gentle subject: a teddy bear with a bandage, a vase of daisies and tulips, a smiling sun with a rainbow, a cup of tea beside a blanket, two bears hugging, a bunch of balloons, and an owl with a doctor's bag.

One page is a blank card with a border of leaves, hearts and stars, with an empty middle where a child can draw a picture or have an adult help write a message. We keep the drawings free of printed words on purpose, so the card says whatever the sender wants it to say, in their own handwriting and in any language.

Coloring is also a calm activity for the child who is unwell. Most of these pages have large, simple shapes that a tired hand can fill in without much effort, and none of them show anything frightening about illness or medicine.

Pages marked easy suit ages 3 to 6. The doctor owl and the bear hug have finer detail for ages 7 and up. Print on US Letter or A4, fold the page in half if you like, and add a note. All pages are free for home and classroom use.
