The most noticeable part of this page is the big round drum tilted on the back of the truck. Its curved stripes follow the spiral blade inside. A chute sits at the lower end, and a small ladder runs up the side near the cab.
Ideas for coloring
- Colour the drum in a bright orange or a soft grey and follow each stripe with a different shade.
- Pick another colour for the cab so the two parts of the truck are easy to tell apart.
- Colour the chute a dark grey as if it were steel.
- Add a pile of wet concrete under the chute.
A drum that keeps turning
Concrete starts to harden after a short time, so the drum rotates slowly all the way to the site. The spiral blades inside lift the mix up and fold it over. When the drum turns the other way, the blades push the concrete out along the chute.
